Our S T I T C H Group went to Anderson Is to dye
We met in Gig Harbor to car pool to the Anderson Island ferry as we waited for the ferry we could see two Orcas doing maneuvers it was so exciting watching them dive and turn they were too far out to take pictures, but what a thrill. The ferry ride was great and a easy ride to Andrea's house, she lives right on the water facing McNeil, what a view. We had a slight drizzle but not enough to delay the set up on the deck. We needed twelve buckets set up tables and start the lesson. Even thou we were out side we needed masks for protection, mix stir then do it again it took approx one hour and half for each color, we chose green to blue and red to orange. The pot luck was spread out and laughter and conversations ensue. Time flew by and it was time to take the fabric out and wow what beautiful colors. Time to race to the 5:40 ferry home. A rainbow shows the way home. Thank you Andrea we had a wonderful day.

What a lovely day
Wow what a wonderful day we had squalls, hail, thunder, wind, fogy mist and glorious sunshine. We also went to the Olalla Elementary 4th 5th and 6th grade talent show the director Lesley Niemi has really given those kids conference the solo's were great and the talent was so clear and refreshing the kids were really in the grove. Later we went back to the Olalla's elementary Carnival put on by the PTA I can not express enough just how much seeing all those children with parents and grand parents having fun together, it really impressed me and what a turn out, well done to all the Olalla kids and friends it was great. Then coming home and pulling into our driveway the view and sky was thrilling so I could not help it I had to take some pictures, everything has been in full bloom one show after another this spring
